Estonian Cybersecurity: Building and Protecting the Digital Society

GW Cybersecurity Initiative Event

October 20th the George Washington University hosted an event for the launch and discussion of Estonia's new cybersecurity strategy. An innovator and leader in the cyber domain, Estonia has taken a proactive stance and built a secure digital society (e-Estonia) that offers much for other nation-states to consider. Senior Estonian officials will discuss the country's new cybersecurity initiatives and lessons learned since 2007, including in the areas of critical infrastructure protection and cyber crisis management. The conversation covered civilian, military, and E.U.-wide dimensions of the cyber challenge.
