Howard Steinman

Background

Howard SteinmanHoward Steinman is a managing director with Deloitte and a leader in the firm’s Government and Public Services practice. He has over 20 years of consulting experience, focusing on coaching and advising senior executives in the areas of strategy, policy, governance, organizational effectiveness, performance measures, and program and portfolio management for large government and private-sector clients. He has directed engagements for clients including the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, and numerous commercial clients. Prior to joining Deloitte, he held positions with A.T. Kearney, PricewaterhouseCoopers and PRTM Management Consultants. Mr. Steinman graduated from Hamilton College with an A.B. in world politics. At Hamilton, he was elected to the Government and History Honor Societies, awarded the Earl Wright Distinguished Advocacy Award, and was a two-time recipient of the McKinney Public Speaking Prize. He earned his J.D. from Western New England College School of Law. Admitted to the Connecticut Bar, he practiced for nearly four years as a labor and employment litigator, where he represented both commercial and public-sector employers.
